Our 2nd Paint Off challenge has come to an end. A big thank you to everyone following along on Instagram while we revealed the entries and a bigger thank you to everyone for voting with a like for their favorite model. But now on to what you’re really waiting for, who painted which Eldrad?!
We’re back with another Warhammer Wednesday battle. This week we saw Team Imperium (Leo’s Astra Militarum and Max’s Blood Angels) going up against Team Xenos (Mike’s Eldar and Brendan’s Tau).
Warhammer Wednesday’s are getting even better with the Open Play of 8th Edition. This week, we had the first games for Mike (Eldar) and Shane (Adeptus Mechanicus)!

After our first Paint Off challenge, a random follower on Instagram was asked to pick what faction we should paint next. Eldar was picked and the winner, Max, picked the model we’ll all be painting. His choice: Eldrad Ulthran!
Games Workshop’s Inner Circle event kicked off this year at our local Warhammer shop in NYC. It was a SOOOOAKING wet day but Tim and Max made it up to show off their work. Jason tends to browse Instagram A LOT for 40k inspiration and he’s seen Vallejo Plastic Putty mentioned in quite a few posts as an alternative to the GW Liquid Green Stuff. He decided to pick up a small bottle and give it a try.
After doing a Google search, I found out there were only a handful of magnetizing tutorials for the Wraithknight. Some great tips and tricks but at the end, it seemed like along with magnetizing, you’d also have to pin to help keep arms posed.
