The jewel of any Thousand Sons army: Magnus the Red. Jason has finally finished painting this monster of a model.
Jason got this as a birthday present this year from the rest of the crew. We’ve shared how he magnetized him in a previous post, but here he is in all his painted glory. Alejandro and Jason decided to push one another to start painting their primarchs so they could battle one another.
Funny enough, Jason decided to actually just glue on the wings even after magnetizing him because 1) in 8th edition you no longer have to change flight modes to get into a fight and 2) he ordered a custom cut Battle Foam tray for him to live in so transporting was easy. But he did keep the chest armor removable so when he takes damage, he can remove the armor to show that he’s at half-health. The base is from the new Occult-7 base line from Dragonforge Design.
Looks great! Very well detailed and seems you spent a lot of time on the edging and feathers. The removable armor is a plus. That greeen flame encompasses the colors nicely. Keep up the great work!
